Mary Ison Worthington Bleazard was John's 9th wife. Mary and John had no children together. Mary had been married previously to Henry Worthington and they were the parents of six children.
Mary lived with and cared for John Hopwood Bleazard at a home in the 14th Ward during the last 3 years of his life.
Mary was Executrix of John's Estate and his Will. She lived a very useful and interesting life.
Of interest is that John Hopwood Bleazard's 9th wife, Mary Ison (Worthington) Bleazard was the sister of Rhoda Ison. Rhoda Ison married William Danks, and their daughter, Annie Ison Danks, married Mark Hopwood Bleazard. Mark was the son of John Hopwood and Lydia Davis Bleazard.
Jerry Shepherd provides this information: "Mary Ison Worthington is buried in the Bleazard Lot 1 (F-14-3) in the Salt Lake City Cemetery and her grave is unmarked and at the left of John's gravemarker. Lydia Davis is buried in the same Lot 1 (F-14-3) at the right of John. The descendants of Mary Ison Worthington Bleazard are currently working on erecting a headstone at her burial place. Please email maryison1822@gmail.com if you would like to participate.
"There are two Bleazard Lots in the SLC Cemetery. The other (Lot 2) is located at F-12-12-5W."
